The Voyages of Samuel Gulliver to Lilliput and Brobdingnag, by Dean Swift. A four part narrative, opening with Gulliver’s shipwreck on the island of Lilliput, whose inhabitant are just six inches high. It is is a satirical romp in which Swift takes some memorable shots at English political parties and their antics. This is the 1948 first edition, illustrated by Edward Bawden with charming colour illustrations throughout the book.

Binding suggestions: This book's lithographs are bright in colour, so the book would look good with a bright shade of leather binding. A yellow or blue would look good, with a blind frame, raised bands to the spine and gold lettering of the title and author on the front. A contrasting ribbon to mark your page in the book, and blue edges to complete the look.
